During the progress of our course, you should have a better understanding and will develop better skills to "personalize," "manage," and "organize" multiple leaning tools. In PLE, the process of self-directed learning requires a degree of self-awareness. Many of us may have never taken the time to think about our own meta-cognition or to reflect on how we learn best. We need to make sure we are ready for the responsibility that comes with building and managing a PLE. I encourage you to apply your PLE platforms to manage various Web 2.0 tool to maintain your people networks, tool/technology networks, and learning resource networks so you do not need to visit all Web 2.0 tools to know what are happening in each tool and network. Q: How will we do differently on the lesson discussions in ETC655? A:   For the initial postings to answer key questions, we should remain the same with high quality postings that address the questions comprehensively with logic and robust justification. Most of you did well in ETC645. You may notice if you do not post well thought out initial postings, likely you will be asked to justified your arguments. In the 2 nd posting period (Friday-Sunday) , I want us to do something differently. This idea is based ETC645 students' feedback. It is called learner-driven instructional design when the course design is based on students' design ideas.
