ETC655: Lesson 6: Instructor’s Notes #1

Dear class,   I hope everything is well on your side.   Early November, I presented and attended the AECT (Association for Educational Communication & Technology), the most prestigious conference in educational technology in the world. ETC graduate students, professors, and I presented our current research projects. I noted that there are more than 60-70 papers in the topic of Social Learning Analytics, Educational Data Mining, Social Network Analysis (SNA), learning engineering, and Data-Driven Instruction/Learning etc. What you learn in ETC655 is the top trend of educational technology.   There was one free OER book the keynote speakers covered. You many this book and chapters relevant to your eBook chapter developments, InfoDoc assignment, and future design practices. Schatz, S., & Vogel-Walcutt, J. (2019). LiveCode

I hope this mail finds you well. My name is Naoko Taguchi, a faculty member in the English Department. I'm creating an assessment task using the program called LiveCode ( https://livecode.com/ ), and I'm wondering if there is anyone (faculty or students) who are familiar with the program in your department. I'd like to hire someone who can help me create the task. The task itself is very simple. Participants watch a short video (10-12 videos total; 10 seconds each) and respond orally.   Thank you for your input,   Naoko     *******************************************************  Naoko Taguchi Professor English Department Northern Arizona University 705 S.
