Dear ETC655 Students,
The final grades have been posted in the grade book on BBLearn. Review them on BBLearn ASAP. If you have questions on them, contact me by 5 pm, Wednesday, 12/08/2021, otherwise, I assume you agree with the received grade.
I am very proud of your tenacity while you demonstrated an indomitable spirit of network learning. By your perseverance, you completed the most challenging course in the ETC curriculum.
ETC655 work serving as part of service learning supports the ETC Open Education Series: ETC Open Network Training Sessions, ETC OER eBooks, & ETC Pedagogy InfoDoc on Emerging Technology.
ETC Open Network Training Sessions: Recordings
ETC OER eBooks
Have you read the finalized eBook? It is a superlative work. It reads and shows well. Download a copy for your own record. Please take an extra step as a courtesy to express your respectful act to the editors' outstanding work. Editing a book is challenging and arduous. You should include your chapter publication or the whole book in your resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV).

I converted it into Kindle format (.mobi) so that you can read it on your Kindle app on any digital devices, if applicable.
eBook: Pedagogy InfoDoc on Emerging Technology Fall 2021 Edition
In progress. You will be notified when completed.
I highly recommend that you save and print a copy of your grade book and the syllabus for your own records. In addition, download a copy of your own files, weekly journal entries, and your discussion postings. Furthermore, I suggest that you save a copy of our course materials on Google Sites for your own records as well.
ETC655 Google Sites which contains all course instructions will remain open as OERs. Feel free to visit it any time. It is updated every semester to reflect the trends of educational technology. I hope you will return to learn from the upcoming students' network training session and Pedagogy InfoDoc which are excellent PD resources. Do you know your network training session recordings and the InfoDocs have been viewed by many people already?
ETC655 is a course arousing your competitive interests, thoughts, and actions in the ETC program. Now you unravel higher course number (655) purports to challenging tasks. ETC655 is to prepare us for "future learning," and "learning for the future." We could not predict all eventualities; however, we could prepare ourselves for the incomprehensible future. Online accelerating learning instructions are intensive. Learning through connecting and linking doesn't grant us much time to reflect. Constantly engaging in self-reflection and metacognition creates opportunities to embrace an open network learning approach. I am much obliged for every word that you shared with me in your weekly journal entry. I would like to use one quote to close our class:
Dov Seidman argued: "When you press the pause button on a machine, it stops. But when you press the pause button on human beings they start, you start to reflect, you start to rethink your assumptions, you start to reimagine what is possible and, most importantly, you start to reconnect with your most deeply held beliefs. Once you've done that, you can begin to reimagine a better path."
From now on, please forward any correspondence to my NAU email account at Chih.Tu@Nau.Edu.
It has been an extraordinary journey of working with you. If there is anything that I can be helpful professionally or personally, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Stay vigilant amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Best wishes,
Chih Tu
