Open Network Technology Training Notes

It is great to see many of you have started rehearing your training sessions.  Here are a few procedures to inform you.

 

This is a highlight event in ETC.  ETC alumni, faculties, and students may attend your sessions.  They know this is a best opportunity to learn something new.  ETC alumni went through your process when they were in the program. I hope you will come back to learn from future ETC655 students.  That is reason why call it ETC Community online Professional Development sessions.

 

You are the host of the session.  I will not interrupt your session.  I am one of the audiences.  Remember, we will have non-ETC655 students participate our sessions and many may watch the recordings.

 

Opening

·      Start on time (No need to wait for me)

·      Start the recording (Avoid recording pre-session conversations)

·      Introduce your group and the topics

·      Remind the audiences to mute their microphone

·      Remind the audience you have a survey to conduct at the end of the session

·      Remind the audience to log off the session and come back for the next session; otherwise, the recording won’t be able to complete.

·      Start your session

·      Consider having one person to monitor the chat session.  Often the audiences engage in the side conversations and asking questions.

 

Closing

·      Complete the session on time

·      Remind the audiences to fill out your survey

·      Remind the audiences to log off and invite them come back for the next sessions
